Laboratory & Certification Supervisor

Summary
Laboratory Supervisor will lead efforts to establish and maintain SXP's onsite metallurgical testing laboratory, including all required accreditations. The incumbent will supervise all laboratory technicians and will also be responsible for all SXP product certification activities.
Essential Functions
Lead start up and certification of internal metallurgical test laboratory operations. Achieve all required industry (ISO 17025) and customer accreditations for all SXP-internal testing capabilities (i.e. room temperature, tensile, Charpy Impact, Rockwell Hardness and Metallography
Provide leadership and supervision of laboratory and material certification personnel for all material testing and pipe certification activities, ensuring compliance to all required specifications, customer requirements and third-party accreditation requirements.
Manage third party external testing activities to support SXP needs in concert with internal testing capabilities, capacity, and cost targets.
Maintain all laboratory capital equipment and associated support systems
Additional Responsibilities
Must understand and follow requirements of customer and industry specifications, SXP QMS and SXP EHS system.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science. Chemical or Materials Engineering Disciplines preferred
Experience working in an ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management System required.
ISO 17025. AS9100 & API Q1 experience highly preferred
5 years of applicable metals-related manufacturing and/or testing experience required
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required
Special Skills
Ability to accurately read, understand, interpret and communicate the content of specifications associated with the definition of requirements, manufacturing and testing of metals (e.g. ASTM B444, ASTM A370).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
