CMM Programmer

The CMM Programmer is responsible for the operation and programming of Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and Vision Systems. The position requires extensive experience to analyze and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure that customer products conform to requirements, by performing detailed, dimensional inspections. The CMM Programmer supports start-up projects, in-process - and final inspection, as well as performs Process Capability Studies and Measurement System Analysis. The position provides direction and training in Quality Techniques, and oversees inspections in an industrial setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficient to develop measurement programs for CMM and Vision Systems.
Competent to develop programs using CAD models.
Provide support to project development teams regarding quality issues, measurement data, and measurement techniques.
Conduct statistical studies of process capability and process control to support operations and engineering.
Review and interpret blueprints and specifications for manufacturing feasibility and measurement capability.
Identify the need for custom gauges and gauge systems. Support Project Engineers in obtaining and constructing custom gauges.
Perform complex First Article Inspections.
Perform, review, and monitor Gauge R&R studies.
Support Product Realization projects.
Create and present reports to communicate results with internal and external customer representatives.
Assist in troubleshooting concerning product and process issues through measurement studies.
B.S. Degree in an engineering or applied science discipline preferred
Expert knowledge of PC-DMIS programming capabilities and general operation
Certificate training for PC-DMIS CMM 201 and CMM 301 preferred
A minimum of 5 years programming experience is mandatory
ISO, Medical, or Automotive Quality System preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer experience with Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
